Earlier this week Barry and Judi O’Connell were named the Captain Belle for Riverboat Days 2025.
Barry, who was a past president of the Sertoma Club and worked for 40 years in industry, says he was shocked when they found out the news.
Judi, who was a past president of the Yankton Area Arts Association and is a co-founder of the Dakota Dance Association, says she is honored to serve as Belle because of her love for Yankton.
Riverboat Days is set for August 15-17th.
