Yankton Bucks Basketball is on the road tonight, taking on the Sioux Falls Jefferson Cavaliers.

The Bucks are currently 17th in Class AA with a 1-7 record, while the Cavs sit 10th at 3-6.

Tip-off from Jefferson High School is scheduled for 7:00 PM. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:30. Brayden Butler will be on the call.

Yankton Gazelles Basketball returns to the Summit Activities Center tonight to host the Sioux Falls Jefferson Cavaliers.

Yankton is currently 18th in Class AA, while Sioux Falls Jefferson is 14th at 3-6 on the year.

Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Basketball return home tomorrow night to host Midland for a GPAC doubleheader.

Both Lancer squads are looking to get back into the win column after they were swept by Dakota Wesleyan in a doubleheader on Saturday.

The women play first at 6:00 PM Wednesday with the men to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 5:15. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

Yankton Gazelles Gymnastics heads east this evening for a varsity dual with the Vermillion Tanagers.

Tonight’s dual is scheduled to be held at Vermillion High School. Events are set to begin at 5:30 PM.

GPAC Commissioner Corey Westra will be the featured guest speaker at tomorrow’s Yankton Quarterback Club meeting at the River Rock Event Center.

Westra has served as GPAC Commissioner since 2003. A paid meal will be served beginning at 11:15 with the meeting scheduled for noon. The public is invited to attend.

South Dakota Coyotes Women’s Basketball returns home tomorrow night, hosting North Dakota State inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

The Coyotes are 9-10 on the year, 3-2 in conference play, following their loss to North Dakota last week.

Tip-off from Vermillion is set for 7:00 PM tomorrow night.

South Dakota State Women’s Basketball star Brooklyn Meyer has been named the Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week.

Meyer scored 30 points on 11-for-17 shooting from the floor to lead SDSU to a win over UND last week. This is her 5th career Peak Performer selection and her first of the season.

Meyer and the Jackrabbits are in action tomorrow night, traveling to St. Paul, Minnesota to take on St. Thomas. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM.
