Doug Ekeren, the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital Regional President and CEO has announced that he will be retiring after a 39-year career in health care leadership.
Ekeren has been with Sacred Heart since 1993 and was named Regional President and CEO in 2014.
Ekeren plans to retire in May of 2025. A national search will commence to find the next President and CEO of Avera Sacred Heart.
