The Yankton Police Department will hold its Kids, Cops, and Christmas event on December 14th.
Jeremy Olson with the YPD says the program, which is designed to take kids in need shopping for Christmas, has been going on for over 20 years.
Olson says that the event started with just the YPD, but several other agencies have gotten involved over the years.
