Longtime Yankton County State’s Attorney Robert Klimisch will be stepping down from the role after 20 years.
Klimisch, who did not seek re-election, will leave the role at the beginning of the new year.
Klimisch says that he is honored to have been able to serve as the state’s attorney for as long as he has.
Klimisch was recognized at the Yankton County Commission meeting on Tuesday.
