Mount Marty Women’s Basketball remained undefeated last night, picking up a 56-49 win over York University.

Sidney Thue led the Lancers with a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double. Kyra Griese added 9 points for the Lancers, finishing 3 for 4 on three-point shots.

The Lancers are now 3-0 on the year. They will be back in action on Friday traveling to Haviland, Kansas to take on Barclay College for the 2nd time this season. MMU won the first meeting in Yankton 90-33.

Yankton Bucks Football will take on Pierre tomorrow night in the Class 11-AA State Semi-Finals in Yankton.

The Bucks won the regular season meeting between the two teams 35-7. The Governors have only lost one game since, and are currently on a four-game win streak.

Kickoff from Crane-Youngworth Field is scheduled for 7:05 PM tomorrow night. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:00. Bryce Ladwig and Josh Boelter will be on the call.

Mount Marty Men’s Basketball will be on the road tomorrow night to take on Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.

The Lancers are 3-0 to start their season, coming off an 84-77 win over Mayville State University last Friday.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM tomorrow night.

Cedar Catholic Volleyball begins Class D1 State Tournament play today in Lincoln, taking on Superior in round one.

The Trojans enter the state tournament as the #6 seed with a 14-18 overall record. Superior is the #3 seed and carries a 26-7 record into the tournament.

First serve is scheduled for 3 PM, and will be played on the south court at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Wynot Volleyball enters the Class D2 State Tournament as the #7 seed, with their opening round matchup against Overton scheduled for this morning.

The Blue Devils won 11 of their last 12 matches to enter the tournament with a 21-9 overall record. #2 seeded Overton is 27-5 this season.

First serve is scheduled for 9:00 AM on the South Court of Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Crofton Warriors will take on Summerland tomorrow night in the Quarterfinals of the Class D1 Football playoff.

Crofton advanced to the Quarterfinals with a 44-32 over Thayer Central last week, while Summerland defeated South Loup in the previous round 46-0.

Kickoff from Crofton is scheduled for 6:00 PM tomorrow night. An audio simulcast will be available on the KYNTV YouTube page beginning at 5:45. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

The Cedar Catholic Trojans are on the road for the Class C2 Football playoffs, taking on Bishop Neumann tomorrow in Wahoo, Nebraska.

The Trojans advanced to the 2nd round with a 22-16 win over Oakland-Craig last week. Bishop Neumann started the postseason with a 49-7 win over Lincoln Lutheran.

USD Men’s Basketball is 2-0 to start the season following last night’s 91-83 win over Texas A&M Commerce.

Chase Forte led the Coyotes with 23 points, 4 assists and 2 steals in the win. Paul Bruns flirted with a double-double, finishing with 10 points and a team-high 7 rebounds.

USD is back home on Saturday to host the Mount Marty Lancers inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
