Senator Mike Rounds was in Yankton on Wednesday.
During his visit, Rounds took part in an open discussion at the Riverfront Event Center with citizens on a wide range of topics.
Rounds says that he felt that it was a healthy discussion.
Rounds also stressed the importance of voting in the upcoming election.
Election night is November 5th.
