The Yankton County Sheriff’s Office unveiled their new patch on the 4th of July, commemorating the history of Yankton County.
Yankton County Sheriff Preston Crissey says that the change is one that he has been considering since he took office in 2023.
Sheriff Crissey says that many historical references to Yankton County are featured on the patch, including the Meridian Bridge.
Crissey expressed gratitude to the City of Yankton for allowing the unveiling of the new patch to take place during the 4th of July Celebration.
