The search for a new Yankton Police Chief has come down to just two candidates, both of them current Commanders in the Yankton Police Department. Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says the two finalists to replace Chief John Harris this summer are Yankton Police Commanders Todd Brandt and Jason Foote.
Leon says the final decision will come soon.
Leon says they received over 20 applications for the position over the past month, and there will be small group interviews with Brandt and Foote before the final choice is made.
