South Dakota senior Stanley Umude was named the Summit League Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for a third time in his career. Umude averaged 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists per game in a pair of Coyote victories last week, keeping the team unbeaten in league play.
The USD softball team begins their season February 12th at a tournament in Hammond, Louisiana. The Coyotes home opener isn’t until April 2nd this year and the Summit League softball post-season tournament begins May 12th in Fargo.
