Red Hot Hastings Nips MMU Men in Overtime

USD Picked to Win Summit League Volleyball

The University of South Dakota has been picked to repeat as the volleyball champions of the Summit League.  The Coyotes were 31-3 last season and return the Summit League Setter of the Year and Freshman of the Year.  USD begins their volleyball season Friday against Wichita State and Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri.read more »

Bucks Roll Past Brookings in Basketball on Tuesday

Ginger Larsen wins SDSU Coaching Excellence Award

Former Yankton High School teacher and coach Ginger Larsen has been selected as the recipient of the Ralph Ginn Award for Coaching Excellence from South Dakota State University.  Larsen coached for 33 years and helped to start the Gazelles volleyball program which placed in the top four at the Double-A state tournament six different times. …read more »

Gazelles Top Vermillion in Tuesday Gymnastics

The Yankton Gazelles topped Vermillion last night in gymnastics by a score of 135.05 to 124.45.  Gazelles junior Alison Johnson scored an even 35 to win the All-Around competition.  Yankton will compete in a triangular at Huron on Thursday.read more »
