Yankton’s Haak Wins Event at Brandon Valley Invite

Carson Haak won the shot put while numerous other Yankton athletes secured top-eight finishes at the Invitational track and field meet Saturday in Brandon Valley. Former YHS Wrestling Coach Stout Passes Away

Long-time Yankton High School wrestling coach Jim Stout passed away in Sioux Falls this week at the age of 82.  Stout was the Bucks head wrestling coach starting in 1965 and had an 80-37 win-loss record in dual meets.  He was inducted into the Northern State University Hall of Fame for both wrestling and football.read more »

MMU Junior Santiago Competes in NAIA Race

Mount Marty junior Brian Santiago of Hartington competed in the NAIA Cross-Country Championship Friday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Santiago placed 184th in the national meet with a time of 27 minutes, 8 seconds in the 8-K race.read more »

Yankton Track and Field Performed Well on the Road

Yankton Track & Field brought home 11 victories from the Quadrangular at Sioux Falls Washington yesterday. The Gazelles won three relays, the 800, 1600, and medley.
