Ward Youngblom is one of three candidates seeking the Republican Party’s nomination for a run at a seat on the Yankton County Commission in the June 2nd primary election.
Youngblom says improving county infrastructure and recovering from the economic effects of the COVID 19 pandemic are top priorities for county government.
With a background that includes decades spent working in agriculture, Youngblom says livestock production has an important role to play in Yankton County’s economy.
Youngblom says he wants to work to see all the sectors of the local economy develop and prosper.
Youngblom says he grew up on a small dairy farm in Minnesota, attended South Dakota State University in Brookings, and for the past two years has worked as a manager for Cargill.
