KYNT Local Sports for 4-24-20

Mount Marty College has signed a pair of shooting guards for their men’s basketball program.  Ty Duin from Cloud County Community College in Kansas played in nine games last year, averaging six points a game and shooting over 44 percent from three-point range.  The 6-foot guard helped lead Gretna High School to a pair of Class B state titles in Nebraska.  Gio Diaz is a 5’11” guard who scored six points a game last year for the University of Tampa and made 42 percent of his three-point attempts.  Diaz will have one year of eligibility for the Lancers.

 

Crofton High School senior Cody Crosley has agreed to attend school and compete on the track team at Division Two Wayne State College.  Crosley finished fifth in the long jump at the Nebraska Class C state track meet as a junior, and he will jump and run sprints at Wayne State.

 

The KYNT “Classic YHS Game of the Week” tonight will be the Yankton Bucks overtime victory over the Pierre Governors in the Class 11-Double-A football championship on November 14, 2015 in the Dome.  Our edited re-broadcast of the game lasts two hours and will begin at 6:00 this evening on 1450, KYNT.
