ABC/Randy HolmesJason Mraz delivered a surprise serenade to a sick Missouri fan Sunday.
The singer showed up at 18-year-old Madison Taliaferro’s St. Louis hospital bed and performed his songs “I’m Yours” and “Have It All.” The teen suffers from cystic fibrosis and has been awaiting a double-lung transplant.
Madison’s mom, Desiree Taliaferro, shared two videos of the visit on Facebook.
“Madison received such a very beautiful gift today,” she wrote. “All of her nurses in the PICU schemed to get Jason Mraz to come up and sing to her.”
Her mom added, “They all know she loves musicals and just overly enjoys singing. The very first song was so lovely and inspiring. It was a great end to her day.”
A GoFundMe page set up in Madison’s honor currently has more than $24,000 in donations.
