Missouri Sedimentation Action Coalition

The Missouri Sedimentation Action Coalition is holding a stakeholder’s meeting next week in Niobrara to discuss the development of a sedimentation management plan for Lewis and Clark Lake.

Executive Director Sandy Stockholm says officials with the Corps of Engineers will be at the meeting to provide an update on current research into the sedimentation issue.

Stockholm says any process to develop a management plan will benefit from the extensive studying of Lewis and Clark Lake has already been completed.

The Missouri Sedimentation Action Coalition stakeholder’s meeting is set for 10 AM next Friday at the Ponca Tribal Headquarters in Niobrara.
