Sutton Seeks Governor’s Office

South Dakota gubernatorial candidate Billie Sutton made a campaign stop in Yankton earlier today to speak about his effort to become the first Democrat elected to that office since 1970.

Sutton says if elected he intends to reach out to Republican legislators to address the issues that South Dakota is facing.

Sutton says workforce development through education and training needs to be a priority for state government.

Sutton faces Republican Congresswoman Kristi Noem in the November 6th general election.
